Hello World.
Or, those of you in it who have ended up here on my blog page. It is very strange to begin but it seems I have already begun it, so I will continue.
My name is Jess and I come from California. I work as a Child Care Educational Provider at a preschool center. I have become an aunt in the last year and a half, which has been quite exciting to turn into, and I do not think I have loved any one person as much as I love my little baby bean of a niece.
A year ago, God poked my heart with a fresh desire to dedicate a year of my life to purely serving Him and His people; to go off into the world and see, really see, that God does not reside in my hometown. God is everywhere and His children are scattered upon the earth. I am truly excited come January to walk in complete faith and trust, without any of the safety and comfort that I have made my possessions and home out to be.
Just God and I, and my team of course. And of course those who we will set out to serve. On a journey, wherever He will lead. Through the nations.
