I had asked my sister, Elizabeth, to write a guest blog about her perspective of my journey.
Here‘s what she had to say…
“They say Travel changes our perspective on the world. We learn that we are small, all but a vapor. It is my experience that even when feeling small or insignificant, we can tap into something bigger, something greater when we partake in a life of another. We don’t have to know someone completely; we just have to share a moment, a thought, a hope.
In going to 11 different countries, I had wished for Jessica to experience the vastness of God’s creation but also feel connected to him in a more intimate way through the moments shared with His family all over the world. At the close of this race, I pray that He will transition her into a path that brings joy, peace, and assurance.
Because the pieces that were needed for her to participate in the World Race fell perfectly into place, I have no doubt that He will open up the right doors for this next season in her life. May God Bless her teammates and all those she has tried to reach with the love of Christ.
Maranatha,
Liz
P.S.- I miss my Sistur and can’t wait for you to come back!”
