Here is our crib in Ghana that we got to stay at!!
It was an all squad month, so we were living with all 32 of us on my squad. This is sadly the only month we will be all living together. But, we had a blast all being back together this month!
We worked for a local church and did evangelism and discipleship. Ghana is mostly Christian so our ministry was a lot of encouraging other Christians to dive deeper into their faith & attend church regularly.
Ghana speaks English and their local language Twi, so communicating there was so much easier than in the Ivory Coast. I got clothes made from African fabric & tailored just for me and even found some homemade essential oils!
We had an adventure day and visited a Monkey Sanctuary, the Kintampo Waterfalls, and the Kristo Buase Montastery. They were so fun and absolutely beautiful and let me tell you the monkeys will definitely attack you for a banana (I sadly know from experience).
I am definitely going to miss Africa, but I’m excited for what’s in store in Cambodia!
I hope you enjoy the video!
