This past week, many of the racer‘s parents came for the Parent Vision Trip, in which they lived life with their son or daughter on the field and got a glimpse of what the world race is like.
For the eight of us who didn’t have parents come to India, we took a train west to Hampi for a few days! We called ourselves ”orphans” but know that we have loving parents back home that support us in different ways than flying to India.
When we returned and visited with all the parents, I realized something huge—we have so many loving parents around us who made us feel the farthest from an orphan! They read our blogs, send comments and messages to us, pray for us continually and do what they can to support us!
From the various parents who came to visit their children, I’ve received goodies from the U.S., necessitiea that I ran out of, and a free meal today. I’ve received so many hugs and prayers! It’s been such a blessing!
Thank you, parents, for making me feel so loved, as if I’m your child! Thanks for sending love from my family!!
