In my recap Australia video if you saw it, I talked about life is ministry and ministry is life, but what does that mean or actually look like?

The way I look at it is what you do every day can be used, if you allow it, to share the gospel of Jesus. To put that in perspective some of the guys on our team wanted to get tattoos and they had been planning on getting them in Nepal. They were walking around and talking and praying for people and a local and had told them to check out this place in Kolkata. The guys looked it up and were impressed by the work, so we went in to see how much it would cost. A few of us decide to sit down in the chair and get a tattoo and we were able to share Jesus with the artists in the shop and other customers. One of the artist said, “this is so cool I have never heard this before”. While getting the tattoo the artist said he needed to take a break because his back was hurting, when he came back from his break he told us that he has had back pain every day for a long time and that he had to turn down people’s tattoos because of the pain. We told him that God has the power to heal and that we can pray and ask him. After the tattoo, Soloman prayed for him and he had prayed that the guy would feel something to know that God was working.

The next day we went and played worship music with some friends and after we got done we had to get the tattoos cleaned so we went back to the shop with our guitars and while some people were getting them cleaned other people played music. We talked to the artist about his back and he said since we had prayed he had no back pain. NO BACK PAIN!!! God is so good. After all the cleanings the manager asked us if we would come back later in the week and play music for them. They printed up posters and put it all over social media that we were going to play. So, we went back in later the week and played music and it was live streamed by people in the shop. We were playing worship music, in a tattoo shop that wasn’t Christian, and they were live streaming it. Not only the people that came to the shop but all over, people were watching and listening. It still blows my mind to think about.

The next week myself and Soloman took the tattoo artist out for lunch. He had told us again that he still had no pain and he had told us that when Soloman was praying that he felt something going up and down his spine and that whatever we did was amazing. We were like NO! That wasn’t us that was God, He did it, we just prayed and asked him to heal you. He then asked about my tattoo and I was able to share the Gospel again with him because it is a bible verse and was able to tell him that Jesus loves him.

We didn’t do anything crazy we just did something that people do every day. We weren’t going into this as “ministry” for the day but letting God use us where ever we went. This is what it is all about just talking a moment and realizing that there are people around you everyday that need to hear about Jesus and about His Love.
