Good morning, Jesus!
Thank you for waking us up today and giving us this gift of life. Help us to find our joy in you and realize that the “happiness” from the world is short-lived. YOUR joy stretches from day to day, from sickness to health, and from person to person. No power of hell can ever diminish or rob us of that joy. There may be those things that will catch us off guard or sleep between the cracks…but they will not last. Not our ill health, not trouble with my best friends, not drama, not bad team morale, not death, not the draw of perfectionism, not a lack of materialistic possessions, not power, not hardships, not ANYTHING. You are so good to us. You always give us just what we need exactly when we need it. Thank you for your mercy. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your joy! Thank you for the gift of friends and a family and healthy, breathing bodies.
Please give us your eyes, your hands, your voice, and your heart for these people in our lives. We want to share joy, hope, and light with others. May you keep feeding this fire inside us and help this passion spread to the world outside.
