One more day to say goodbye. One more day to sleep in my own bed under an insulated roof with the AC cranked. One more day to wear my favorite running shorts and not have to wear my hair in a bun. One more day to figure out how in the world I am going to fit my favorite snacks in my day pack. And yet one more day to finally leave behind that life of unlimited comfort and pleasure here and prepare for the life I am about to live. Adios muchachos! Medellin, Colombia — we’re comin for ya!

I am speechless by the love I have received from my family, my friends, and even people I don’t know very well. To all of you who have supported me: your notes of encouragement, sweet prayers of protection and well wishes, blessings of financial gifts, and hearts of gold have humbled me in a way that I didn’t think was possible. I pray that just as you have planted seeds in my life, so will I in the lives of others. Thank you SO MUCH for pouring into me and helping me fulfill my dream of reaching and serving those who are less fortunate than I! Y’ALL ROCK!

We’re going to leave behind almost all of our earthly possessions, live out our mission, fix our eyes on Christ, open our hearts up in a vulnerable manner to connect with each other, be AUTHENTIC, step out of our comfort zone and into da HEAT zone (literally checked the weather it’s no joke), and pour out our hearts into embracing this new life! I’m soooooo stoked yo for God to show up in a mighty way and use us to accomplish much! Whatever the path to sharing this love and freedom is — I’m all His and I’m all in y’all. One. Day. More.
