Thank you all so much for your prayers and gifts towards the people affected by the fire! We were able to raise $300! I am encouraged by what we were able to raise in just a few days and I know it will be a big help in getting them back on their feet. One of the ladies that goes on a lot of the feedings will go back to the community to access what the current needs are and buy things based on that. I know that $300 may not seem like a lot based on American standards, but money goes a lot farther here in the Philippines and something that God has been teaching me is that He is faithful when I step out in obedience. Thanks for being a part of this!
I leave for Thailand tomorrow. I am excited for what is coming next, but it is hard to leave the Philippines!! I have so enjoyed making new friends, seeing my old friends again, and serving with my whole squad. I will write another blog soon and talk about the awesome and not so awesome things (AKA lice) that have happened this month, but I wanted to send out a quick update so you know what is going on.
