This month I get to spend my time with team More Amor, an all girls team that is full of gentleness, kindness and intentionality.

But, before I introduce you to them, let me tell you about what we are doing this month really quickly.  This month we are in Quito, Ecuador and working with a ministry called Pan de Vida (bread of life). Pan de Vida serves the community through cooking and distributing food to those in need. BUT, instead of working at Pan de Vida each day we have actually been working on rebuilding a house for a family that lost their home to a fire a few months ago.

This has been super fun because we have been able to spend time with the family each day while also helping them rebuild their home through digging holes, jackhammering and much more!

Alright, without further adieu, I introduce to you.. Team More Amor

When you were a child what do you want to be when you grew up?

In kindergarten I wanted to be a nurse because I wanted to help people but I don’t like blood so that didn’t happen.

What is a bold prayer that you are currently praying?

That my grandpa will be 100% healed and that I would get to go to machu picchu.

What country would you want to live in if you couldn’t live in the U.S?

London, I just always wanted to live there ever since I was little. Maybe because a book I read when I was little, maybe because of the accents, not sure.

What is your favorite thing about the race so far?

The people I get to do life with and adventure with, my teammates and all the people God has brought into my life. Second, the new stamps in my passport.

What does the Lord’s voice sound like to you?

He talks to me a lot through other people so he sounds like the person who is talking. When I read the bible he sounds like a father who is soft and loving.

Along with team Lit that I introduced you to last month please feel free to pray for them, check out their blogs, and follow their journeys as well throughout this year. These women are so incredibly kind and consistent in their walks with the Lord that I am sure they will have much to share about what they learn within this next year!

Also, a handful of them are still fundraising for this trip as well, so if you are interested in supporting them you can do so by clicking the donate button on their blog site 🙂
