Let me tell you a little something about my friend Kendra Nicole Winnick (or KendraNicoleWinnick, depending on how closely she writes her name).
She is a light in a dark world. She has overcome. She is a prayer warrior. She is a warrior, period. She is a fierce momma lion who does anything to protect her cubs. She is compassionate. She is a lover of all God’s people. She frightens the enemy with the overflowing strength of God that emanates from her very being. She is the contagious laugh you can hear from a mile away. She is kind and humble. She is beyond strong. She is a sweet, but ferocious child of God. She is intelligent and overflowing in God’s wisdom. She is warm. She always has her arms open when in need of a solid hug. She has the faith that can move mountains.
John ends his book in the Bible with the following statement:
“Now there are also many other things that Jesus did. Were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written.” John 21:25
In her 25 short years Kendra has become a fierce warrior for God. She has seen so much of the darkness in this world, but through Christ has overcome. She lights up my life and all the lives she touches with her overflowing love of God. Kendra’s life will without a doubt be able to fill an entire library with her stories of faith, compassion, prayer, laughter and miracles.
She is not her past or circumstances. She is not the lies the enemy tries to convince her in. She is not easily defeated. This world has not and will not overcome her.
Kendra, I love you oh so dearly and am absolutely honored to call you my sister in Christ. Continue to live your amazing life and love God above all else!
