Hi all!
It is the day before I launch for the World Race and I just wanted to share a quick update in between packing and spending time with family. My mom, grandma, and I are down at the condo in St. Pete Beach, and will be leaving for Fort Lauderdale tonight for my flight tomorrow evening.
The amount of support that I have received over the last several months has left me speechless and at times has moved me to tears due to the generosity of all of you. It means the world to me that you have invested both financially and emotionally in me and I could not feel more blessed as I get ready to launch into this adventure with God and it is my pleasure to take you all with me on this adventure. Thank you all so much for your generous hearts and because of your generosity, I am leaving FULLY FUNDED!!! I don’t have to worry about raising funds on the field, and I can be present in the moment with my team and with God, so thank you for the gift of being fully funded.
I look forward to this year and what it will bring. Please keep my team and me in your thoughts and prayers as we launch tomorrow. We will need them as we leave our families and the comforts of home for the next year to live out of a backpack. That’s it for now, so until next time my friends…see you in COLOMBIA!!!!
