Hi all!
It is with extreme thankfulness that I write to you this update! I am excited to report that I am 74% funded!!! It would not be this far along without generous financial gifts from you all! It moves me to tears that you all have invested in me not only financially, but emotionally as well. This trip is not at all possible without you all investing in me financially and emotionally. You all have showed love to me by posing challenging questions, praying powerful prayers, and joining me in waiting with me in anticipation for what the Lord will do in and through us with this trip. I’m sure my squamates won’t mind that I speak for us and say that we are already so very grateful for your prayers surrounding this trip. It is a huge comfort to me, and “Thank You” feels like it’s an inadequate way to express just how thankful I am for the opportunity that God has called me to. What an incredible feeling it is to open yourself up for the Lord to work in and through you. So, while “Thank You” doesn’t seem adequate enough, those are the words I have. Thank you for all of your support these last few months while I prepare to depart. I am thankful for your continued support. It is with your help, that I’ve crushed the fundraising goals up until this point! I just met the $13,000 goal that I had to meet before I launch in 31 days thanks to you all!
With this being said, we have gotten to the 74% funded mark and I don’t have that much to go! I have raised a total of $13,260 so far and I hope to be fully funded by the time I leave on January 12 which is 31 days away!! I have $4,240 left to go before being fully funded!! I need YOUR help to get me there! There is still time to buy a pie for $5 to have thrown in my face, and my brother is now joining that fundraiser as well, so if you would like to throw a whipped cream pie into one or both of our faces, let us know by commenting, or sending us a message!
I also have the Adopt-A-Box fundraiser that is still active so if you’re interested in that, let me know! There will be a prize behind certain boxes, so if you purchase a box, there may just be a prize behind it!
I am hopeful that I will leave fully funded, but I can’t do it without you, so please consider making a tax deductible donation towards my trip.
Also, I would love for you all to follow my adventures through my blog. I will be posting a lot more consistently while I’m actually out in the field, so I hope you’ll follow my blogs! I want to be able to share this with you all!
