It’s easy to get lost in the details, to start looking at all the things that need to be done in the now, and forget about the big picture. Since being accepted to doing the World Race I’ve gotten lost in all the little things that I need to do to prepare, from vaccines to support letters to packing lists and everything in between! Getting lost in the details I’ve found that I had forgotten what I’m going towards.

I’ve been looking from left to right and behind me but I haven’t been looking forward, and that has left me feeling a bit apathetic towards what lies ahead. I’ve began looking towards the future again and remembering why God has called me to do the world race; to recall the promises He has made and is faithful to fulfill.

He has reignited the passion in me to serve Him and His people, to give up my comfort and my finances and whole lot more, so that I can reach those calling out in pain. It’s not going to be glamorous and a lot of the time it won’t be “fun”, but God has stirred my heart for the nations and I’m going to face forward and find out what exactly that means and what He has in store.
