In Matthew Jesus talks to His disciples about going into different countries and villages and spreading the good news of His forgiveness and love. Teaching them how to cast out evil spirits and heal those who are sick.

This week has allowed me to experience some of those things since we have started our ministry. Our team has gone to different villages each night and worked with the kids in the church, singing songs, telling them Bible stories and playing games. It has been such a blessing to go into these villages and see the excitement these people have, as they have probably never seen white people before.

After we lead the children in worship we are able to go in to some houses and pray for the people of the house. Some ask for prayer for their pain. Others, ask for prayer for more children. One of the pastors of the village asked for prayer to understand the Bible better so he can explain to his congregation. Prayer is the most powerful tool we have as Christians and for me to be able to share that with these hungry Christians is such a blessing.

God has laid on my heart a person in need and I would ask you to join me in prayer for him. He is our driver, I am not at liberty to share his name but he drives us to and from our ministry everyday and he is not a believer. He is a Hindu. God has been promoting me to share the gospel with him. However, he does not speak English so it is difficult to speak with him if our translator is not around.  I would ask you to pray for his heart that he would be receptive to the Lord and that through our actions, attitudes and words he would be able to understand the gospel and what it means to truly follow Christ.
