I have trekked the Himalayas and swam in waterfalls.

I have lived in a floating village.

I have lived with orphans.

I have befriended dozens of street dogs.

I have befriended many people.

I have preached, taught, acted, sang, and danced in churches all over the world.

I have fallen in love with countless kids.

I have slept on concrete.

I have had to share countless beds with teammates.

I have lived on beautiful farms.

I have lived with rapists.

I have lived with murderers.

And felt no fear.

I have seen people accept Christ.

I have prayed healing over sickness and brokenness.

I have seen the healing.

I have wept with my team.

I have danced with my team.

I have been to a strangers wedding.

And ate before the guests and wedding party.

I have swam with sharks and sting rays.

I have held sharks.

I have ridden horses.

I have danced in the night clubs and prayed for the street kids.

I have seen the deserts of Abu Dhabi and lush forests of Thailand.

I have endured the African sun.

I have seen the snow caps of the Himalayas.

I have tasted the foods of Central America.

I have played with monkeys.

I have ridden elephants.

I have celebrated the Khmer New Year.

I have befriended fellow travelers.

I have ridden in truck beds.

I have ridden on truck roofs.

I have broken chains that bind me.

I have stepped boldly into freedom.

I have seen God move all over the world in ways I never thought possible.

I have seen more love and heartbreak then I ever have before.

I have broadened my horizons and expanded my world.

And yet this one thing still remains,

The people I long for most are on the east coast of the United States Of America. Mom, Dad, Rose, Shannon, Jesse, Rachel, Ashley, Chase, Lily, Timmy, Sam, I’m coming home.

Of all the love I have experienced, yours is the most steadfast.

Of all the food I have tasted, yours holds the most memories.

Of all the roofs I have slept under, yours is the warmest.

Of all the dogs I have met, I’m most excited to meet yours.

Of all the people I have embraced, I long most for yours.

I’m coming home. I’ll see you soon.
