On Friday, February 2, my team travelled to Ferké, a city in northcentral Côte d’Ivoire. We met a missionary working in a hospital there. She showed us around the grounds and we got the opportunity to pray over the hospital staff and patients. We met new mothers and their babies, prayed for malaria patients and made some new friends along the way. Then we met a missionary couple who is working on translating the Bible from French to Nyarafolo, which is a language that has almost never been written down. To learn more about their tedious process and how much work goes into it, please visit KristyKeprta.TheWorldRace.Org. Kristy is my teammate who wrote a beautiful blog about this couple.
What I have for you today is my very first Vlog introducing you to my team and taking you along on our first overnight trip with our amazing host, Sherri. I hope you enjoy it!
Thank you you so much for following along on my journey. I can’t believe month one is almost at an end. Your support and encouragement is more appreciated than you know!
