Ahhh there is so much I want to share with y’all I have been having a hard time writing a blog. But, I was talking with my mom the other day and she said I needed to blog… even 1,700 plus miles away she is still telling me what to do ?? (love you mom) So here we go!

Ok child here you go, your little world is about to grow” those were the words that went through my head as we landed in Haiti. I truly believe this was God. God answering my prayers of experiencing more! As I have never left the states before I was excited to be experiencing a new country, culture, and people! One of the reasons I am on the World Race is to experience more of who God is and one way I experience God is through His people! I honestly had no clue what to expect and know that this whole 11 months is going to grow my world in so many ways, more than just going to 11 countries. I am going into this expectant for God to move in mighty ways, whatever that may look like. Thank you all for being a part of this journey with me!

Now here is a little run down of what’s been going on the past few weeks!

I have been in Haiti for about two weeks now! We landed in Haiti on 1/16/18 and took a packed 3ish hour van ride form Port au Prince to Mirebalais where our ministry was waiting for us! We are partnering with Grace So Amazing Ministries

Graces So Amazing is an orphanage for children whose families can not take care of them due to circumstances out of their control. Grace So Amazing also offers a free school for preschool to 2nd grade children whose family can not afford for their children to go to school. GSA has also made a big impact on the Mirebalais community by putting in a community well for fresh water! These past few weeks have been an amazing opportunity to get to hear and see all this ministry has to offer.

When we arrived at GSA the were four wise and Godly men from Washington here on a two week mission trip to help with construction. These men were such a blessing to me and my team! I am so encouraged by there continual hard work they pour into Gods kingdom as they have been at GSA many times to do Gods work!

The first week at GSA was time to see how the ministry is run and how we can walk along side them to continue to impact the lives of the children they help. Some of our team was put to work on construction, others stay at the house and work on things while playing with the littles ones. Then there is a group of us who go to the school to help. I am blessed to experience school here In Haiti and get to spend time with the crazy little kids.

Haiti is such a beautiful place and the people in it are even more beautiful! It’s has been so exciting for me to experience this beautiful country as my first time out of the USA. God is so good!

Love, Courtney
