Welcome to Thailand’s edition of the Thankful Heart Initiative!
Thailand was incredible. Abba’s Lil Nugs had the privilege of teaching English to kids living in the slums of Bangkok. We had some of the most incredible hosts, Suzy, Kristen, and Sprite (also known as Friends of the City).
There was seriously so much to be thankful for this month I don’t think I’ll be able to write them all down. Here’s a list of some of the things I was thankful for in Thailand:
The food sheet with Thai and English translations that our hosts gave us
Our hosts
My team
My mom
Mango sticky rice
Time well spent with the Lord
Holy grief
Musicals
Mexican food
The kids we taught
Being able to laugh until I can’t breathe with my team
Night markets
McDonald’s (for when you just need some American food)
Answered prayers
Our RISEN King
Basil chicken
Being able to go to the Immigration Detention Center
Fish pedicures
Italian food (at a restaurant called Mamma Mia!)
Aloe
Massage bus chairs
Reliable tattoo artists
The power of prayer
Coffee
WATER
Fans
A/C
A hose to shower with
Coconut ice cream
Safe street food
The Awakening
New revelations from the Lord
The Lord teaching me how to surrender

Thailand in general
I feel like the list could go on and on, but I’ll stop there for now.
Feel free to join me in cultivating a thankful heart by posting what you’re thankful for in the comments!
With great love,
Chels
P.S.
Please consider supporting me by adopting a box. I’m nearly fully funded but I need your help to stay on the field. Simply choose a box and then donate that amount (ex. 50=$50). Let me know which box you’d like to donate! Thanks! (:
