About Me

Hey I’m Cassie! I feel most alive living in the outflows and hillsongs that come from a posture of worship, gratitude and surrender. It’s even better with tacos, soundtracks and darn good light. 🙂

I’m a 26 year old INFJ, who lives in Knoxville, TN. Currently I manage a photography studio and am on a leadership team for college students through my church.

I started a relationship with Jesus right out of high school and my life has never looked the same.

About the World Race

If you’ve found this page, you must know that I’m joining the World Race in January 2018!

The World Race is an 11 month journey to 11 countries to tell people about Jesus. It’s through an organization called Adventures in Missions, that trains in discipleship while serving in local partnerships around the world.

Through the World Race, I’ll partner with churches and ministries in local communities in Southeast Asia, Eastern Europe, and Southern Africa. I’ll serve with other young adults to preach the gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, and minister to women and children trapped in prostitution from human trafficking. Honestly, that’s barely scratching the surface in the ways God may use me.

Here’s a few of the places I’ll be: Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Bosnia, Kosovo, Romania, South Africa, Lesotho, Zambia. You can read the full description of my route here.

How can you help?
  • Prayer – This is the most important thing I’ll need. Prayers for the encounters I’ll have and the relationships to form. Prayers for safety and health. Prayers for the days that feel like too much. Prayers for the people who will learn about Christ and will share it with their communities. Prayers for the humbleness to accept others hospitality. I need people on the ground behind me. Would you be one of those people?
  • Financial Support – One of the biggest challenges is financial support. In order to be fully funded for my trip in January I need to raise $17,400. This money will cover all of my field expenses on the World Race like: food, transportation, insurance, shelter and a small amount of supplies. The amount feels too big. The question feels like too much. But I’m reminded that none of this is for me. At the end of the day it’s for the kingdom, and the Lord has simply asked us to come along side Him.
  • Follow Along – Subscribe to my blog! Follow along and hear what God’s doing through my ministry. Celebrate, weep, discover new things; take ownership and reveal what the Lord is doing in your own life. Let’s talk about it!

Please join me in praying for the days to come, the people to meet and the words to be shared – because this story is way bigger than I could ever imagine being a part of, and we’re all offered a piece in it.
