It’s month four of the race and month two of Chile and boy it’s been an adventure.
This months ministry looks different but for me I’m in my element.
This month looks like baking bread all day everyday, not just any bread, Pan de Pascua. We make two to three batches a day so around 50 to 75 loafs of bread. Working in a kitchen all day at first didn’t seem like I was really doing anything. When you think mission trip you think living in villages helping people, and doing hard manual labor all day or evangelizing the streets, but then I saw it all from a different perspective. We are selling bread to raise money for the church we’re partnered with this month, so they can have AC units installed, and build a new roof. We are part of helping a community build a new place of worship and a place they can go to be with God. This month we are behind the scenes, but the impact we’re making is undeniable.
Once we’re done baking bread we have the opportunity to sell the bread around town. Dressed in Santa hats, and aprons all the Americans take the street to sell all we can! Yes people laugh at us, yes we draw even more attention to ourselves, and yes my spanglish is a real thing, but you gotta do what you gotta do to sell as much as we can!! The Lord is sure helping us provide for this church and I am so thankful to be apart of this ministry!!!

As the second month here in Chile comes down to the last few weeks I am close to the final deadline for fundraising. I am about $3,000 away from reaching my goal and I could use your help to get there! Anything helps whether it’s $10 or $100, it all goes straight to helping me reach my goal and stay out on the field. We have 5 months left of this journey and many more lives to reach and I would love to be able to continue here. Donating isn’t the only way you can help! Prayer is very powerful and I’m faithful that we serve a God that provides and through prayer and donation I will get the funds I need. Thank you for all the support and prayers. God is sure amazing!!!!
