Just wanted to give you all a little background of who I am. I was born and raised in Katy, Texas and like any good Texan I have a probably unhealthy obsession with Texas and everything about the state. I am currently attending Texas Tech majoring in Child Life Specialist, which is kind of like a therapist. Being here at Tech for these two short years has opened my eyes to a whole new person I didn’t know I could be. Although, I love my life here in Lubbock there is this feeling in my heart that this is not the place I should be. When I first heard about the World Race I was taken back by just how incredible this organization is and I knew this was the journey I needed to be on. I get to travel the world while spreading God’s word and if you ask me, there is nothing more humbling or a better way to glorify our Lord. Yes, I will miss my life here and everyone in my life but this is a chance to find myself in God and hopefully change the life of a few people along the way. I am blessed beyond words for this opportunity and cannot wait to start this journey in Christ.
