One week ago I had the following dream:
Can you see me? I was lied to, I was forced into something I didn’t give consent. I was taken, I was kidnapped.
Some had it worse than others.
Some trapped for centuries,years,months,days.
This is modern day slavery.
I tried to warn others of who they were, and what they were doing but nobody listened, they couldn’t see me.
After some time I was found broken.. inside. They said the damage had no repair. But we were found!!!
We were set free. Could we go back to living normal lives? Could we pretend it never happened?
No.
Even better, why don’t we share our testimonies of being found.
I was at a conference for survivors, and advocates. A girl asked me to repeat the verse on the way out in English. As I reached out to help her find it I opened to a Spanish bible.
John 10:10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
She told me to read it. She had spent many years trapped and she wasn’t able to learn to read up until now.I read it to her, then I woke up from the dream. Or nightmare..
As I woke up I felt a pain in my chest. I felt relieved that,I am free but knowing many others aren’t.
A week later my team and I were able to be a part of A21 campaign to bring attention and awareness to an issue that many don’t t fully understand. I believe that it was a dream was from God. I will never feel the pain the girls and even boys go through, but I was awaken to what God wanted me to be prepared for and I didn’t know all this would make sense and come together a week later but now I see. Can you?
A21 is now globally known in many countries joining together to walk for freedom. Yesterday over 30 countries joined together on the same day in many different cities! That is just a few of the ways that we come together as humans. If you didn’t join in one this year there is many opportunities to join one in future be sure to set aside October 20th and walk for freedom in your city.
Bulgaria is #1 of the 5 major countries for Human Trafficking and considered a resource country. There is over 40 million people in some type of slavery still today. They are held against their will- exploited. Right now only 1% gets found. Slavery still exists. Many are waiting to be freed and when they do I hope the Lord gives them boldness to tell their story and share of their freedom and live life to the full.
