This month has been very different from the last month in Ukraine because most days we do something completely different from the other and I will show you in pictures. Also our whole squad is together and it is made up of 29 people including our 3 squad leaders. For the other times not being “squad months” we are split into 4 groups and do different types of ministry in different cities so it was nice to all be together and bond.
Este mes en Romania a sido diferente comparado al mes pasado en Ukrania, porque cada dia hacemos algo que no habiamos hecho antes o el dia anterior pero nos a encantado mucho. Y la diferencia mas grande es de que 29 personas vivimos juntas. Todos los 4 equipos somos unidos por este mes y despues nos volvemos a separar por diferentes ciudades.
So one of the many ministries is helping carry and cut firewood for widows in a nearby village. As winter approaches everyone must start preparing for the harsh weather and widows here often have to pay a lot of money they don’t have for the manual labor or there has been cases where some widows freeze to death during the winter season because of lack of wood, strength to cut it or money to pay to have someone do such a task.
Así que uno de los muchos ministerios está ayudando a transportar y cortar leña para las viudas en un pueblo cercano. A medida que se acerca el invierno, todos deben comenzar a prepararse para el duro clima y las viudas aquí a menudo tienen que pagar mucho dinero que no tienen para el trabajo manual o ha habido casos en que algunas viudas se congelan durante la temporada de invierno debido a la falta de madera, fuerza para cortarla o dinero para pagar para que alguien haga esa tarea.
This is Lindralina a woman who we got to be a helping hand for and just spend time with and have a pik-nik as well. She showed us some her artwork and her beautiful garden that also held corn stalks and we were offered some, she is so sweet and reminded me a lot of my own grandmother.
Esta es Lindralina, una mujer con la que tenemos que ayudar, con la que pasar tiempo y tener un pik-nik también. Ella nos mostró algunas de sus obras de arte y su hermoso jardín que también contenía tallos de maíz y nos ofrecieron algunas, es muy dulce y me recordó mucho a mi propia abuela.
Dorothy is a Canadian missionary who has lived in Romania for over 10 years now and she is very passionate of the children and widow ministries here that she is a big part of.Dorothy took us to go socialize with some of the widows she visits almost on a monthly and take some groceries to. She speaks the language fluently and is very submerged in the culture as well and is a big inspiration to many. Let us continue to pray for her life and many blessings on such a hard working woman of God.
Dorothy es una misionera canadiense que ha vivido en Rumania desde hace más de 10 años y es muy apasionada por los ministerios de niños y viudas de los que es una gran parte. Dorothy nos llevó a socializar con algunas de las viudas a las que visita casi en la actualidad. una mensual y llevar algunos comestibles a. Ella habla el idioma con fluidez y está muy sumergida en la cultura y es una gran inspiración para muchos. Sigamos orando por su vida y muchas bendiciones para una mujer de Dios tan trabajadora.

And afterwards we were given a surprise Romanian lunch!

On my first day of ministry some of the gals and I went to visit our neighbor grandma and help her clean because she is weak to do a deep clean and it was so nice to get to know her and do something for her as little as that may seem.
En mi primer día de ministerio unas muchachas y yo fui,os a casa de nuestra vecina para limpiar porque ella no puede esforzarse de más por una cirugía reciente que la tiene débil. Podíamos pasar tiempo con ella también y charlar y conocerla más.
On a Saturday morning we got ready and our city had a cleaning day. Along with us were other people from the church and students of different ages to help the clean up of the streets.
Un sábado temprano los alistamos para el día de limpieza que tiene nuestro pueblo. Otros misioneros y pastores también nos ayudaron e incluso salones de estudiantes de diferentes edades que también cooperaron.
We went to the BIG city of Craiova to make connections with the local young people to invite them to a concert we were having.
Fuimaos a la ciudad de Craiova para repasar invitaciones con jóvenes que nos encontramos para que vengan a nuestro concierto que tuvimos. Gracias a todos los misioneros que nos ayudaron que viven ahí.
On the far right is Pastor Tavi, he just began ministry in this village along with his wife and baby about a year and a half ago. One of the ways he likes to help his community is by helping clean the cemetery and we got to be a part of as well.
En la mera esquina está el Pastor Tavi que recientemente se mudó a ese pueblo con su esposa e hijo al rededor de 2 años. Una de las maneras que le gusta ayudar a su comun es de limp el cementeri. No tantos del pueblo quieren hacer ese trabajo, él es un gran líder ahí y no se desan para dejar ejemplos en cómo servirles a otros bien.
