We are such imperfect individuals, and yet, somehow, He knows how to love us perfectly. Think of someone knowing each and every one of your flaws, down to the smallest detail, and still wholly loving all of them. Now, I know that each one of us are human, so I know for a fact we all have a dark side. There may be a dark side in our brain that we don’t want to share with anyone, but the truth of the matter is: HE KNOWS IT! HE WAS THE ONE WHO CREATED US. And still, as I type this, I don’t think I fully understand the gravity of what I am saying. He sees me fail every single day and still comes back the next morning saying “I want to do life with you again today”. Whether today is THE MOST PERFECT DAY EVER!!! or a normal mundane day or a down-in-the-dumps-no-one-speak-to-me day. Ephesians chapter one says,
3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. 4 Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him In love. 5 he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— 6 to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves. 7 In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8 that he lavished on us.
Even though in all actuality we are not holy or blameless (we do commit sins) He still looks at us and does not blame us for our failures. He says “I know you will fail because you are human but I am here to forgive EVERY time and help you the next time” …
We are so lucky to be created by a God who does not condemn us for our mistakes. Instead knowing that we have human weakness, takes our hand lovingly and says- “Do not be ashamed, for I love my dear sons and daughters through it all.”
