Penang is known for its food. People travel from all over the world to come try their delicious dishes. Lucky for us, we came at the perfect time: the Penang International Food Festival! The food festival consisted of three weekends of all sorts of different foods and experiences. The first weekend was street food, second weekend was Taste of Penang (a gathering of different restaurants in Penang), and the third weekend was food trucks.
I decided to film myself eating some of the foods we tried, mostly so my sister, Katy, could experience it in some small way. She loves trying new foods so she would have been in food heaven! If I could recommend any of the food in the video, I would tell you to attempt to cook the Serabai Istimewa. It was so good!
We arrived in Phang Nga, Thailand yesterday. Malaysia as a whole was such an amazing month. The children were so awesome, it was definitely heart-wrenching to leave. I miss them already and it’s only been a day! That’s all for now, talk to you soon!
