Well, I leave tomorrow to drive down and see my fellow world racer, Heidi, and then we will drive down to Georgia for launch! Our world race is about to begin. I am beyond pumped. It’s hard to put into words, but I would say surreal describes how I feel right now. Over the past few days, I have said bye to a few my closest friends and family members. Saying bye isn’t easy, but it is comforting because I know they are people who I will always be connected with. Plus, this is a year full of adventure and that is one of the best spices of life.
With that being said, be on the lookout for my next blog in Australia! With the new year just beginning, I want to pray for 2018 specifically;
I pray for freedom. Not just for myself, but for all of you who are reading this. I pray for open-mindedness, that we all take a step back, listen, and be still knowing that God is with us. I pray that frustration and hate leave our hearts for the things that we don’t understand or don’t agree with. I pray that we all speak words of truth and of love over ourselves and others. I pray that we free ourselves from the negativity that surrounds us every day. Give us strength, God. Help us experience freedom in YOU. Amen
