Correction: The Volcano Top 😉
Yesterday we climbed the Volcan de Santa Ana. It was 2-2.5 hours each way and it was hot the whole way up, cold and windy at the top, and the clouds looked like we were at the risk of a storm most of the way down.
As a team #soulspark grew, pushed, and we reached the top together. God’s creation is incredible and the views are worth the effort. The worthwhile things in life aren’t usually easy or everyone would be able to experience them. Similarly, in Matthew 7:13-14 it talks about the wide and narrow gates in life. How the wide gate leads to destruction but the narrow road leads to life. Few choose to follow that narrow path to life. Once we’ve chosen that path we get the Holy Spirit to help us along and we also get the community of believers. Life is hard and the narrow path is harder. We aren’t meant to go it alone. It’s impossible. Everyone needs a team to go through the tough stuff with, to sharpen each other and to encourage one another. Community is a necessity and God’s design.
Finally, it’s picture timeeee WOOOO!!!
