Our lives are filled with defining moments; our first steps, the first day of school, our first car, graduation etc. We are fortunate enough to document these moments with photos, a luxury we seem to take for granted. This past week I ran into a friend of mine that reminded me just how important these moments are and how much of a blessing it is to have these memories photographed. I wanted to share a few of my defining moments with you.

I am going to assume this around the time I started school.

My first car.

My graduation, and one of my favorite people in the world, Isaac. He is pinching my side, sorry about the facial reaction haha.

The loss of my older sister, Nychelle. I was 16 at the time, there is so much more to be said.

The birth of my nephew. and my niece(below)

The moment I left for my missions trip in Brazil. The moment before everything I wanted for my life changed 🙂 The moment before I encountered Christ in ways I never knew to be possible. The moment before I realized I wanted to be a missionary.

A few people from the outreach ministry I built after my return home from Brazil. This day is when I realized I loved being able to give, we spent the whole day just doing random acts of kindness. This waitress was one of our favorites!

The decision to become a small part of a world missionary team.

This is where I leave you, there have been and will be several more defining moments in my life. I cannot wait to begin this chapter of my journey!
