This month has been a dream come true. Every single day, we are seeing the kingdom of heaven come to earth. Sharing truth, healing people, casting out spirits, and encouraging born again Christ followers. It is a small glimpse of what I hope my whole life looks like.
One of my favorite parts of all this has been getting to do it alongside others. For the third time on the World Race, I’ve gotten to spend time with a third Gap Year squad. World Racers who are in the field for nine months and age from 18-21. This has been the biggest unexpected blessing of my Race. It’s been so incredible to get to know other racers who have committed to this thing at a few years younger than I am now. Their energy and passion for Christ are contagious, they are wise beyond their years, they are bold and courageous, and just plain cool.
Shout out to Gap L, Gap N, and Gap O! I have learned so much from them, and in turn I hope I have passed on some wisdom through lessons the Lord has taught me. He has given me the opportunity for incredible conversations, learning, teaching, prophecy, and encouragement. It makes my heart so full to pour into my peers as young Christ followers.
And my passion and purpose right now is exactly that. To lead and disciple my peers and younger believers. To teach them what The Lord is teaching me, ask hard questions, challenge them, and try to work together in living like Christ to bring the kingdom of heaven wherever we go.
Through this passion and purpose, God has called me to my next steps with Him. In September, I will be leaving the U.S. yet again. I will be attending G42 Leadership Academy in Mijas, Spain. G42 is a 9 month program made up of 3 months in school, 3 months in the mission field putting what we’ve learned into practice, and then 3 months back at school to debrief our experiences, and help teach the next students.
As I’ve expressed before in my blogs, I have a passion and vision for my generation to change the world and bring the kingdom of heaven to all the earth. God has taught me so much about this passion, and I am ready to commit my life to it. But, I recently found myself asking the question “How? What role do I play?” I know the first step in trusting the Lord, and that He is the only answer. He has called me to G42 in order to know Him better, and let Him reveal more answers to my questions.
Leadership and discipleship are my passions, and my purpose in life, and I am so excited that God is providing an avenue for me to grow in these gifts and share them with others.
Just as I did for the World Race, I will be trusting God to provide for me to attend G42. I will be fundraising financial support to help with my tuition. I will need to raise $9,000 by the end of my time at G42 around May, 2019. I am so thankful for all who have helped support my journey on the World Race. God has taken your gift, and completely changed my life and soul with it. He has also used it to work through me in helping change the world. I could never have imagined the ways that God would use me to share His love around the world, and it has been so incredible. God has truly used your generosity as a blessing to heal the sick, give hope to the hopeless, and change the hearts of His beloved children.
I ask that you will prayerfully consider joining me as a supporter of my next steps with God. The Lord has called me into a life of following Him, and trusting His guidance. This includes trusting Him as my provider to help me in my journey of following Him. I am so thankful for all the support, prayer, and blessings from my brothers and sisters in Christ.
I love you all so very much.
If the Lord is calling you to continue partnering with my journey and helping support me, I will soon have an intern page established for Nickolas Isaiah Carter where you can donate with one time or recurring gifts and you can donate here:
