This past month in Thailand I’ve been inspired practically everyday by people I didn’t expect. 30 plus little girls ages 5-18, with a majority of them being closer to the younger age range. I wrote a blog about the first night we were there but the love didn’t stop there. This went on for weeks.
They worshipped like no one else was around, dancing and singing at the top of there lungs like it was just God and that one individual kid. They studied God’s word like it was there job and there lives depended on it, because, well at the end of the day it does. They not only loved us but also loved one another to an unexplainable point! They say to love as Christ loved and without a shadow of a doubt they do just that. They made me question whether or not I loved that much, and let me tell you there’s always room to improve!
With them being so young you wouldn’t expect them to have so much knowledge of the bible and so many verses memorized. Out of the 20-30 girls there they memorized a total of 700 plus verses. On bible quiz nights they were all eager to jump up and answer them and 90% of the time the answers were correct. These young girls inspired me to push my study even further and further every single day from here on out.
So from a grown man ex-powerlifter struggling to do one push up but NEVER giving up I’ve been inspired to push through anything life throws my way physically. To 30 plus little girls who has inspired me to love and worship harder than anyone around me. Always keep your eyes and ears open to the people and environment around you. You never know where God is going to place or what He can use to inspire and ignite a flame below you!
