$17,617.
That is the amount I am required to raise for my World Race trip. To be completely honest, I’m scared, nervous, intimidated, weary, and concerned about having to fundraise that amount.
Fundraising is hard.
Fundraising is awkward.
Fundraising is scary.
But, fundraising is necessary and biblical.
Jesus says in the book of Luke, “So I say to you, keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”
I need financial support and prayer support from family, friends, churches, and communities to go out into the world and to share the love that Christ has shown and given to me.
I want you to join me in this journey. Join me in this ministry to share the glory of God to those all over the world. Join me in proclaiming the great name of Jesus to many nations.
With that being said, I want to be completely transparent of where your support and donations are going.
Below is a breakdown of where all the money goes:
If you would like to donate via credit/debit/bank transfer, click “Donate” on the upper right-hand side of this page. You will be directed through the process of making a one-time, monthly, or quarterly gift.
Checks and money orders can also be made out to Adventures in Missions, with “For Will Patton” on the memo line. Your donation should be mailed to: Adventures in Missions, PO Box 742570, Atlanta, GA 30374-2570. All contributions made to Adventures in Missions are tax deductible.
Currently, I’m 30% funded and I thank everyone who has supported thus far. I understand that not everyone will be able to financially support me, and so I ask for prayer support. Pray with me and for me during this journey to see how God works in the lives of others.
Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses every thought, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
