What a week looks like in Mokhotlong, Lesotho.
Monday: Breakfast @ 7, then 3 people go to the hospital to pray and bring a word to some of the patients there. This happens every morning. Then a team goes to the hospital to do soup kitchen, while the rest of us goes to the school to work on stuff there. Wether that’s mending fences or separating rocks from sand. We do those ministries until lunch time which is @ 1. After lunch there is some other ministry opportunity scheduled for us. Then the day is basically over. Relaxation and dinner follow until we go to bed.
Tuesday: After breakfast and the hospital prayer we have school development. Which is where we, again, mend fences, separating the rocks, digging trash holes, etc. After lunch there is a high schooler cell group or better known as a bible study. Testimonies are shared followed by a short and translated word brought by one of us. Dinner and sleep is followed later that night.
Wednesday is the same as Thursday and Friday besides the prison ministry we have on Wednesdays. Which are great. Speaking of prison ministry!! This Wednesday, after our testimonies, a prisoner came up and gave his life to Christ!!!! We got to pray over him and also praise God for his forgiveness and love for all people!!
Saturdays are free days so that will consist of hiking to waterfalls, cliffs, or the river, walking around in the streets or getting snacks at the grocery store or even drinking tea while writing out your heart in your used up journal.
Yes I know. This one is short but knowing what I’m doing in Lesotho is important to my family and friends.. so be patient loves 🙂
Better things yet to come. Much love <3
