Hey all!

I’m alive!

I’m well!

I’m in a jungle, sorta, and teaching English at a Bible College (“jungle” and “Bible college” are three words I would never have expected to type in the same sentence in days gone by. Weird. Cool too!)!!

BUT THAT’S NOT WHAT THIS POST IS ABOUT! 🙂

It’s about Malaysia! And it’s short and sweet because I only have a little data to work with here!

The men of X-Squad (yes, we called ourselves X-Men if you were wondering 😀 ) spent the month working in, well, another jungle near the town of Karak, Malaysia. We worked at a ministry site called Siloam House which is a residency for persons with special needs. Throughout the month we got to work on pruning Calamanci trees (Calamanci are like tiny limes) and harvesting all the fruit off of 800 trees, which helped to fund the needs of the organization.

When we weren’t pruning trees, though, we were spending time with the residents, playing games, singing songs, going to awareness events, and pouring into their lives. As it would happen, they ended up pouring love into our lives, too, and the video below from one of the events we took them to shows exactly what I mean.

With that, let your cup be filled and have a blessed day!
