For the very first month on my race, I am on an all girls team!
If you’re like me, I’ve always grumbled about being and being around females
I dislike that males are naturally more athletic, muscular and have a faster metabolism
I dislike having a mensural cycle and all the inconveniences that come with it
I don’t think it’s fair that we have to get fat while carrying another human in our abdomen, only to have excruciating pain while extracting that human
I dislike the inconvenience of using the bathroom in the wilderness
I dislike people thinking I am dramatic, weak, or fragile just because I am a female
I dislike that a stereotype for females is that when we get together we are catty and gossip
In my opinion being a female is like drawing the short end of the stick
And if you told me we were going to have a women’s day, or that I would be on an all woman team, where all of us women get together and hangout without the men, I would tell you to poke my eyeballs out…
Or at least that WAS my opinion
Today I celebrate being a woman!!
Being a woman is absolutely incredible
Scientifically:
The female heart is programmed to beat 2 times faster
Women blink twice as often
Women have stronger immune systems
Female muscles and tendons contain more elastin, which makes women more flexible
The corpus callosum is larger in the female brain, which is what allows women to multitask more effectively
There are more tastebuds on the female tongue
The female body has more pain receptors, but thanks to estrogen, which blocks inflammatory processes, women have a higher pain threshold
Color perception is directly linked to the X chromosome, which allows women to distinguish between shades of color better
Women can hear high frequency sounds better
Women have a better sense of smell and can distinguish different sweet tastes better
Women form stronger attachments to other people because of high oxytocin levels. They also have better developed brain areas that are responsible for the feeling of affection
Women tend to live 6-7 years longer
Women have the intrinsic strength to endure childbirth which is one of the most painful and exhausting processes of mankind
Women have a greater resistance to extreme cold
Menstruation cycle is a natural cleanser for our system to ultimately slow down the aging process

We were created to teache older women to be reverent in the way they live, urge younger women to love their husbands and children, be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, and kind ALL FOR THE GOSPEL. We were created so they just our beings, our very existence is to bring kingdom. Not going against each other, but coming together as women to bring the Kingdom of God here on earth.

God made us to represent the beauty, gentleness and strength of his heart

God did not make women to be greater than or less than men but equal. No one better or worse than the other. Both made to be image bearers of God

So let’s celebrate being women
We are graceful and strong
We are beautiful and contain feminine mystique
We are relational, naturally created to nurture and love
We are independent from the world and dependent on God
We do not seek affirmation from men/the world but accept complete approval from our perfect lover and true prince, Jesus Christ
We are princess’ because our Father is the King!
Let’s stop underrating being a woman
Let’s stop letting the world tell us we are weak and insignificant
Let’s stop seeking affirmation by seducing men or by cutting each other down
We are valuable, incredible creations that reflect Jesus Christ
God has completely changed my heart and opened my eyes to see how wonderful being a woman is
And I will fight for all my sisters to know and believe and stand in agreement with our identity and worth being in Jesus Christ!
SO LETS HEAR IT FOR BEING A WOMAN!
