This month has been the best month on the race so far!
We have been partnering with a chirstian organization called REAP and they are seriously awesome
We have participated in a variety of ministries this month:
- Prison ministry
- Sports ministry
- Hospital ministry
- Prayer walks
- Manual labor on the land to help them in their pursuit of being self-sustaining
- Womens‘ bible study
- Young Life
- Bizarre to help parents in need buy presents for their kids for Christmas
- Apologetics conference
On top of all these amazing things they included us in, their main focus was making sure we were fully connected to the Lord so that we would be serving and loving out of the overflow and not out of our own strength
One of their encouragements to help us go into deeper intimacy with God was a book study over ‘The Final Quest’.
This book opened my eyes to a WHOLE NEW WORLD **cue Aladdin song**
It painted such a vivid and beautiful picture of the spiritual realm including the spiritual warfare we are currently fighting. [ I HIGHLY recommend this book ]
Even though our time is coming to an end as we head to Africa on Sunday, I am beyond grateful for my time here in Nicaragua.
It was beautiful, uplifting, encouraging, stretching, and spiritually filling
