teach me hospitality.
hospitality is using the divine space that God creatively handed me to share and invite people into. It’s seeing God through people.
I’m asking God for Fresh eyes.
teach me how to pray.
prayer was woven into the fabric of Jesus’s day to day life. jesus being God prayed, secluded and alone on the mountain. prayer bends reality, ushering heaven onto earth- it’s partnering with God.
teach me how to love.
creative love, rich love, wondrous love, healing love. God is love, he breathed the universe into making, meaning he is as near as the air to my skin. We were made to love. I’m looking and asking for creative ways to love.
teach me obedience.
living out the opportunities in my hands to love, serve, and push deeper. being conscious of the spirit, then acting on it- for obedience releases the power of God.
teach me reverence and glory.
this is the first time in my life that I’ve feared God.
exploring the paradox in His character.
reading revelations and envisioning the throne room of God, thousands on thousands of angels singing “holy, holy, holy” day and night. an emerald rainbow encircling the throne that’s sitting on a sea of crystal. that’s my god. and when I pray I intercede all of that, pausing praise.
I just want more and more and more.
