Last month, our team traveled to Cyprus excited and ready to see God move in a great way! While in the airport in transit to the country, the last thing we expected was to be told that our host would no longer be able to house us. I was highly encouraged and felt secure being around my team during this time. Although we were unsure about what our month would look like, God’s peace hugged us ever so tightly!

Unified in prayer, our team felt strongly that we should book an airbnb. The price was more than double our budget so we were desperate for a place to stay knowing that we could not afford to continue living in that place. On Sunday, we went to the International Christian Fellowship church and had an amazing time worshipping God with other believers. (We didn’t attend a christian church at all while in Morocco so this was super fun!) While we were there, Andrew got connected with a man from Yemen. This man has an incredible testimony. He started an international broadcasting company to reach the lost people of Yemen through media! This man did not hesitate to offer us his home and his seven person van for us to stay in and use. It was a very powerful moment!

It was an absolutely beautiful month and I am so thankful for the kindness and generosity shown to us by the man who offered us his home and his car!

I pray that this small story would encourage you in your walk with God today! I know there have been moments throughout my journey where I’ve questioned God’s calling over my life because of fear that I would not raise enough support or I would not have a place to stay. If you feel called by God to The World Race or something shorter term but are battling with the “how to’s”, please take this small story and remember that God always takes care of his kids and he will take care of you! He loves you very VERY much!

Here is a short video! If you would like to see the house, please visit the blogs of my previous team, “Team Phoenix”!
