Hello! My name is Talya Taylor, also known as T, Tal, and Tals. This is my blog for the World Race, which you probably heard about from me or one of the countless amazing people who know me. I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I have a bachelors degree in Exercise Science and a Master’s in Teaching-Secondary Education from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. I’m known for laughing at my own jokes, telling you about my new favorite song, quoting SpongeBob, talking to myself, and thinking I can dance.
Most importantly though, you should know that I’m completely in love with Jesus Christ! I’m as far from perfect as a person can be, and I’m completely dependent on His grace and mercy. I will chase the heart of God as He pursues me each morning; with patience, passion, and persistence.
One of my favorite scriptures is 1 Corinthians 6:19-20…
“Don’t you know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who comes from God and dwells inside of you? You do not own yourself.You have been purchased at a great price, so use your body to bring glory to God!” I truly desire to do just that!
