Amigos! I have a mission for you, should you choose to accept. As most of you know, my first financial goal to meet is $5000, and the deadline is in a couple of weeks. So I am starting a little fundraiser! This has been called “Adopt-A-Box” by many that I have known to do it, but you can call it whatever you like…….within reason (you know who you are).
Here’s how it works: there are boxes numbered from 1-100. You choose a box, donate the amount of money corresponding to the number in the box, and that number goes away. The entire amount, should all the boxes find their adopters, adds up to $5,050! That’s a lot of money. Here’s the thing, though: I only need one hundred people to complete this fundraiser, and the highest amount to donate is only $100. So it’s really not so bad (that’s what I keep telling myself).
Now here’s the plot twist. Instead of just crossing off the numbers as they are taken with a bright red crayon, I’m going to flip over the cards. There is an announcement as to what my next fundraiser will be, but all the boxes have to be “adopted” and flipped for it to be revealed. It’s a little puzzle to be put together by everyone, so be sure to share this with your friends and family!
