This isn’t a normal blog but I am writing this because there has been a lot of confusion on how to donate to my mission trip and fair enough, it’s a little confusing. Hopefully this will straighten everything out.
Since Adventures in Missions is an American organization, it’s different for Canadians to donate. There are three different ways for you (Canadians) to donate.
“Adventures in Missions is in cooperative partnership with Community Christian Fellowship Church of Canada (CCFCC) to train and mobilize Christ’s followers to establish the Kingdom of God through discipleship and charitable service around the world. Have questions or need help? Email [email protected] or call 613-834-8187 ext 27.
#1 Cheques, They will be tax deductible for Canadians
You can write a cheque and make it payable to CCFCC with “World Race” or “Adventures in Missions” in the memo. #2 E-Transfers, They will be tax deductible for Canadians
To give using e-transfer, send to [email protected] and follow up with a separate email stating the following:
- Donor’s Name
- Donor’s Complete Address
- Participant’s Full Name (Sydney Ruether)
- Participant’s Program (World Race)
#3 Through my blog, This will not be tax deductible for Canadians (It will be for Americans though 😉 )
Simply go to my blog, sydneyruether.theworldrace.org and click the box that says “donate”. Warning, the amount you donate on my blog is in USD.
