If you’ve looked closely at my teams pictures you’ll notice that we are now six instead of seven.
Well, at training camp when we were divided into groups we had 3 women and 4 men.
We were the perfect dynamic, not saying we aren’t now, but our puzzle is missing a piece.
Have you ever met someone that leaves a mark no matter if they spend a month or a day with you?
That person is Megan. In the time between training camp and launch she went trough one of the toughest times in her life so far.
Her mother’s cancer worsened and she passed away.
That girl was simply shining with the light of God. You’d read her updates and all the way from Brazil I could see her light.
In that hard time she choose to let God take control, and listened to his voice telling her that she was much needed by her family and that it wasn’t her time to take on the world. Her time will come and I’m certain she will do amazing things in the name of the father outside the US as she is doing in the US this year.
Anyways, going back to the point, we spent 10 days with Megan and only 3 being a team. Now we’ve already spent more days without her than with her. However, we still feel a missing piece.
Every once in a while, or better yet, about once a day, one of us will be caught looking around, thinking who isn’t here?
With this I want to tell you all that everyone has the ability to leave a mark, you simply have to choose to be different in order for your mark to stick.
So ask yourself this:
Are you being different?
Are you leaving a good mark behind?
There are people that simply float away, others leave a bad mark and the most important leave a heavy mark.
What person are you?
I challenge each and everyone of you to leave a mark this month.
Shine so bright with God’s light that people will remember you were there long after you were gone.
SIMPLY BE A MEGAN
