When I say God is great I really mean it. If I were to write every single blessing I’ve received this passed month we’d be her for a very long time, but here are a few of the things He has blessed me with.

January 9th was the day I started my financial commitment to the world race, that is, I started raising money. And let me tell you I was a mess of nerves, but He gave me my sister that was visiting those first 10 days and keeping me company.

Then I started to wonder what will happen when my sister is gone? Will I be able to completely trust him, or will I get sick? Because for those that do not know I have a problem with anxiety that causes me to get sick, by not letting me eat and sleep well. However like a great Father again showing me his love and protection gave me an amazing group of young ladies to server Him through the world race, one living only three hour away, something we both needed but didn’t know to ask.

As it is said in Isaiah 41:10 “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

Later in the month I came up with Parents night out as a way to raise money for the trip, and the first time I was going to do it I only had two kids sign up and they cancelled the day before, even though I was sad I decided to trust. Sure enough the next day during the entire five hours I was supposed to have the kids over I had no water, because of a car crash on the corner.

This last weekend I didn’t have anything going on so I decided to go where I was invited and it so happens that I got invited to the women’s conference in Eldorado Springs MO and Tyro Christian Church for David Bycroft retirement service, and so I went stopping at Carl Junction Christian Church along the way to visit old friends and make new ones.

It was a true blessing, seeing so many women together to worship the lord for 7 hours straight, hearing testimonials of some brave women and learning about things like Bible Art Journaling, something I would never have thought about but great for doodlers like myself. IF YOU’RE A DOODLER CHECK IT OUT.

Having heard about TRUST in bible school at Carl Junction, with amazing people around me sharing their blessings and giving me strength to continue trusting the lord. Because I will reach my financial goal not in my time, but in His.

And of course having the opportunity to being with the church that supports my grandfather’s mission work in Brazil as well as many other missionaries, seeing so many preachers thanking God for how David and his wife Kathy made a difference in how they serve the Lord.

I hope you have an amazing week and trust that He know what is best for you and the time for it!!!
