So about a week ago I had a opportunity to go zip-lineing, it was amazing.
But it started off pretty sketchy, we started looking for a place to go zip-lining with, most places cost about $60-$80 usd, but we found a place that cost 100 sols which is about $33 USD. So like half the price, that was a little sketchy in its self. We had 4 people going so 400 sols, we put a 100 sol down payment and left. The next day we went back and no-one was there, opps, but then a man came we payed him the rest, and we walked us outside and said wait here. We waited for about 15 min before this women walked up and said “zip lining?” We followed her and we walked a short little bit until she ti ld us to stop and she look at us and said “you pay me now” wo look at each other and told her we already payed the man, she got out her phone and called him, clearly somthing on his end wasn’t done right. After she hung up she didn’t say anything else about it, then a car pulled up it was just some guy and he was with his like 8 year daughter we got in and he took it daughter home with us in the car then we drove up into the Mountains. The more we drove the sketchier it got, we joked and said either we go zip lining or awe get robbed and left in the Mountains in Peru, either way makes a good blog. We drove up into the middle of no where, we saw no buildings other then little huts and no valleys or zip lining places, but we pulled up over a hill and saw this big valley and a nice building. We got out signed sokme wavers and went zip lining, it was amazing our first zip line was Just simple it was 300 meters long the next one was 600 meters long and much faster the 3rd one was 700 meters long and the longest one we got to zip line upside down that was cool and the 4th and final one was 500 meters long and that was my favorite we turned our harness around and got zip line like superman it was amazing. The best part was we where right by the sacred valley we could see it from where we were. It was somthing I will never forget.
Now we are at our ministry site and it’s amazing it’s out in the middle of no where, I love it. It’s also manistry month which means we left our teams for the month and it’s all the men together, I’m am so excited to see how God grows me this month.
