I’m not sure if you heard or not but there was a massive earthquake in Mexico. We experienced some of that here in Guatemala.
I wanted to share my experience.
I fell asleep praying over our new home. Praying for protection over every room and for the surrounding area. Sometime between 10:00pm and 11:00pm I had a dream. In this dream hundreds of demons were fleeing from our home. These demons were scared.
The dream startled me and as I woke up I felt or entire building swaying like a boat on waves. The light fixtures were swinging rapidly and the water for our laundry was splashing around violently.
Now, I want everyone to stop and think for a second…..
If you just had a dream about demons then wake up to the entire house in a fritz, what would you do?! What would you be thinking?!
Yeah that’s right, my first thought was,
“This place is haunted!”
I was so confused. I finally realized it was an earthquake.
Once it was over I had to go outside and process what just happened.
“God, what was that?!”
“The dream, the earthquake the strange peace I had throughout the entire situation?”
My perfect father responded……
This is what I believe the lord spoke to my heart.
“My son, you have done well. Praying for protection over your brothers and sisters. Praying for protection over the community. And boldly praying to let the enemy know that evil is not welcome in my presence.”
I spent the next day asking God what he wanted to show me.
“We won’t be shaken.”
“WE WON’T BE SHAKEN”

Sleeping through earthquakes. (Just as Jesus slept through a violent storm)
Feeding homeless
Teaching English and music
Helping doctors
Providing Gods love for lost children and teens
Praying desperately for opportunities to share the Gospel as we walk the streets.
Living in 24/7 community together
We are the church.
We are the salt of the earth.
And…..
We won’t be shaken!
