I never thought that in just 10 days I would be forever changed. I experienced God like never before. I worshiped deeper than ever before. And I saw God do more in me and around me than ever before.
Within the first 24 hours of training camp I already felt the Holy Spirit break out of the cage I was holding it in. There were parts of my life that I hadn’t completely surrendered to the Lord yet. I still had a few chains. But like I said, within the first 24 hours the Holy Spirit arose inside of me like an untamed tiger. The feeling was fierce and an intense focus came over me, the “eye of the tiger” type of focus. I told God I’d do whatever he called me to. I said….
“Lord if you want me to move I’ll move, live my life in singleness I’ll do it, give up everything I own and walk as a homeless evangelist, I’ll do it. Anything you want father I’ll obey, If you ask I’ll say yes”
Guess what, I meant every word.
Guess what, that Holy Spirit “Tiger” grew 1000x more fierce in that moment. Since then I have been so in tune with my God I constantly feel as if I’m going to burst into tears of joy. Yes constantly!
Now that was the first 24 hours, it only got better. I experienced visions for the first time, saw healings, spoke with God like never before, and the list goes on. I could go on for hours about what happened in those 10 days. The wildly fierce, tender and loving spirit is unleashed and its because I surrendered all. Obedience releases the power of God in your life. I am confident in His faithfulness. I learned to be vulnerable, be fully engaged in the present and to live life WITH GOD not just for God.
Hebrews 3:15 says that “we should not harden our hearts when we hear his voice”.
When you hear that voice, stop asking “What if?” And start saying “Yes!”. I’ll say it again, “obedience releases the power of God in your life”. Not responding to that voice with a yes will put your “Tiger” in the cage. Don’t cage the Holy Spirit, surrender and rejoice as the chains fall. Faith without works is dead!
A few other things I got from training camp:
I don’t need coffee
I can eat crickets
I can survive on over 24 hours with no sleep because I froze all night.
I can survive on no sleep because I slept in a hammock and got rained on all night.
Who needs showers? All you need is bug spray, and some Deo for your BO
Community is serving each other and loving each other in the name of Jesus. And it is beautiful.
Zumba is fun.
Be wholesome. Exercise mind body and spirit.
When God is in control, It only takes a few days to fall in love with 26 strangers.
Be humble, be patient, stay calm
And lead from behind.
Mark 10:45 says that “even the son of man came to serve not to be served”
He is first because He put himself last. We must do the same.
There are a million other things I learned and you can ask me about them any time! Thank you all for your support, keep the donations and prayers coming. Love y’all!
