We’ve taken on a project of our own design this month as a team. There are 28 kids living at Seed of Love (the orphanage where we’re staying) and only one of them has a Bible. That one Bible was a gift from a previous World Racer who stayed here. When any of us take our Bibles out the kids pass them around, flip to their favorite Psalm and ask us questions.
It turns out that buying a Bible in this city is relatively easy and inexpensive. They actually print them here. Our goal is to provide every kid here their own Bible. So here we go!
We have 6 days to raise the funds to make this happen. Below is a link to the page through which you can donate directly. We only need $505 to make this happen. When we raise the funds we’ll be able to pick the Bibles up ourselves and deliver them to the kids. I know it’s something I’ve been slacking on, but I’ll definitely post pictures when that happens.
