Hello Everyone!
I have been overwhelmed in the last few months with the way so many people have come around me with their support. You have all been so wonderful in ways I didn’t see coming and ways I didn’t know I needed. I am so grateful for every time one of you has checked in on me, talked me off a proverbial cliff, encouraged me or actively stepped up to help me through one of the strangest transitions I’ve ever experienced.
Asking people for things is a skill I’m still learning. Receiving things gracefully is another skill all together, which means that the thought of raising $18,017 was not a comfortable one when I set out. But here we are… My goal for this week, the week before I go to training camp, was $5,000. Instead, the generosity of the fabulous people around me has added up to $18,123. I don’t know how to thank you all. I didn’t see this coming.
I assume God is teaching me another lesson. He keeps doing that. If I haven’t said it already, I’m glad you’re along for the ride.
