After Armenia we had quite the adventure of traveling to Kazakhstan! Here is a short overview of our travel agenda:
- Overnight train ride from Armenia to Georgia
- Full day in Georgia waiting for another train
- Overnight train from Georgia to Azerbaijan
- 2 days waiting in the port city of Baku, Azerbaijan for a cargo ship
- 24 hourish cargo ship across the Caspian Sea from Azerbaijan to Kazakhstan
- 3 day train ride from Aktau traveling across the ginormous country of Kazakhstan to Almaty
