For our final team time Noah had this idea for us to all do. We all took 5 minutes to think about and write down what we love about Jesus/God/The Holy Spirit. I had never done this before but it was a really cool thing to do! These things are also a cool way to share Jesus with other people because it’s about what you love about Him not what someone else says or a formula of the “right things” to say; it’s just real things that you love about Him!
So I would recommend you take 5 minuets out of your day and do this! Just think about things that you love about Him and write them down!
Here are the things I wrote during that 5-minuet period:
What do I love about Jesus/God/Holy Spirit?
- The forgiveness that we have been given for everything we’ve ever done and will do
- That we don’t have to work to be saved
- His sense of humor
- His attention to details
- How He’s gifted everyone so uniquely and made everyone so different for a specific purpose
- That we can’t understand or make sense of it all
- That He likes to have fun
- That He calls me son
- That He chases after us and all we have to do is turn to Him
- That He leaves His mark all over this world and beyond
- Taste buds
- That we aren’t forced to love Him
- Imaginations
- That we have nothing to fear because of Him
God is good all the time, and all the time God is good!
