Thailand, before the race, was the country I was most looking forward too! I love Thai food so much and anything spic, Thailand itself looks so so beautiful in pictures, and the opportunity to experience a new culture that I’ve never experienced before excited me!!  So far Thailand has been just as amazing if not better than what I thought and hoped it would be!  The food is fantastic and spicy, it is very beautiful around, and the culture is for sure new and different than anything I was expecting!

For our ministry this month my team and I get the opportunity to teach English at a public school in northern Thailand (about 3 hours north east of Chiang Mai)!  This opportunity is awesome because we are living far outside of the city and away from that action, also we are living on the campus of this school in a house there and we have access to their sports fields and such!

Thailand itself is a 90% Buddhist country so most everyone here has only ever known Buddhism.  One thing I read on a Wikipedia page is that Christianity is not big here and the missionaries that have come through have not left much of an impact here.  I feel like God has been telling me that our squad and team are going to have a big impact here on the people especially in these schools!  I am excited to start getting to know these kids here and to be able to share Jesus with them and with Christmas coming up the Christmas story!

Thank you to everyone for all of the prayers and support I couldn’t thank you enough!! I am so very close to being fully funded (which I have to be by the end of December), so if you want to help out and be a part of the change that we’re going to bring to Thailand you can hit that donate button at the top of my page (or click here)!!  Thanks again, and I can’t wait to share the good news we’ll have here from Thailand!

Ps. Happy Thanksgiving!!
